[ MY FOUNDING STORY ]

For over 25 years, I advised C-level executives worldwide and led global teams, including as a General Manager and Executive Committee member at Gartner. I helped scale multi-hundred-million-dollar businesses at CEB and Talent Neuron.  At Gartner, I co-authored The Connector Manager, shaping how organizations think about manager development.

Across all of that work, one pattern kept showing up:
The difference between good and standout leaders wasn’t knowledge.
It was how they handled critical conversations. 

This shift became the foundation of my latest book, Standout: The Six Conversations Every Ambitious Manager Needs to Master, and the Standout Manager training and coaching — real-world tactical tools and research-backed strategies designed to help leaders shrink ambiguity, unlock team performance, and accelerate their careers.
